Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LocMe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including Hosts, Stay Managers, and visitors.

The Platform

LocMe is a marketplace that connects property owners (Hosts) with local service providers (Stay Managers) for short-term rental operations. LocMe is not a party to any service agreement between Hosts and Stay Managers and does not employ Stay Managers. We provide the tools and infrastructure; the working relationship is between users.

Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use LocMe
  • You must provide accurate, complete information when registering
  • Each person may hold only one account (you may activate Host, Stay Manager, or both roles within a single account)
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

Host Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate property information and clear job checklists
  • Set fair and reasonable service fees
  • Verify completed jobs and release payment in a timely manner
  • Ensure your use of Stay Manager services complies with local laws, HOA rules, and platform terms

Stay Manager Responsibilities

  • Complete jobs according to the checklist provided by the Host
  • Provide photo documentation as required for job verification
  • Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with Hosts and guests
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including labor, tax, and safety regulations

Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. By using LocMe, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

When a Stay Manager accepts a job, payment is authorized and held. Funds are released to the Stay Manager upon Host verification of completion.

Platform fee: LocMe charges a 5% fee on the reservation value, with a minimum of $10 per job. The cleaning fee is excluded from this calculation.

Host subscription: Hosts pay $4.90 per month (unlimited properties). The first 3 months are free.

Stay Managers: The platform is free for Stay Managers. They keep 100% of what they earn minus the platform fee.

Disputes

If a dispute arises regarding job completion or payment, either party must flag the issue before payment is released. LocMe will mediate in good faith and provide a final resolution. Decisions made by LocMe in disputes are final within the platform.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time. There are no cancellation penalties for the Host subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Circumventing platform fees by arranging payments outside of LocMe
  • Providing false or misleading information
  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward other users
  • Using the platform for any illegal activity
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is." LocMe is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Stay Managers, or for the accuracy of Host property information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocMe's liability is limited to the fees paid to LocMe in the three months preceding the claim.

Intellectual Property

LocMe owns all rights to its branding, trademarks, and platform code. Users retain ownership of their own content (listings, photos, messages) and grant LocMe a license to display that content within the platform.

Termination

LocMe may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm other users or the platform. Where possible, we will notify you before taking action.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
